Zerodha Asset Management Private Limited is incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 on 20th December 2021 and is jointly controlled by Zerodha Broking Limited & Smallcase Technologies Private Limited. Zerodha Broking Limited made an application to the Securities and Exchange Board of India ('SEBI') for registration of the proposed Mutual Fund ('Zerodha Mutual Fund') on 5th February 2020, and the in-principle approval was granted by SEBI on 1st September 2021. The final approval was received on 11th August, 2023. The principal activity of the Company is to act as an investment manager to Zerodha Mutual Fund.
